Ladder Ranking System

We are proud to announce a new service that we have available for any players that enjoy the competition aspect of the game both aggressively and casually – the F & S Ladder Ranking System* (LR for short).

LR in Tournaments

The LR will not only help to establish a more visual representation of each player’s skill level in our events, it will also allow us to provide better match ups to offer higher levels of competitive gaming. Further more, it can serve as an unbiased tie breaker in case of multiple winners.

All participants in our tournaments will and must receive a LR of 1000 during first registration. Each LR score then fluctuates depending on the individual’s performance in matches and updated at the end of event. Generally speaking, the better the opponent’s LR, the higher the player’s LR will increase when winning and decreases when losing. The vise will also be true when the opponent’s LR is lower than the player’s. No matter the opponent’s LR, a player will always be awarded bonus LR depend on his/her performance when winning (e.g. winning with a “Solid Victory” in a WFB match).

LR in League Plays

LR is also available for players who like to game casually. For that, we urge anyone who is interested join the appropriate league of their liking for. Any league members will also receive LR in the same format as a tournament player and receive changes in their LR in the same formats (some bonus available in the tournament setting may not be available in league plays). This way, the LR not only serves as a tool for any challenge match that a league player may wish to play, but also a comparative measurement in skills to any tournament players. League LR are updated weekly.

Termination of LR

There is no voluntary termination of LR since that would be unfair to any other players who had invested time and effort in the LR system. However, any LR accounts that stay inactive for over 6 months will be deleted from our system, thus allow the players to start anew (if they so wish).

Also, our LR system is far from perfect. If abuses of the LR system should arise, we would respond properly with changes in the current LR system or even a LR reset in the worst case scenario. We apologize for any future inconvenience in advance.
